I started off making jewelry in middle school using old beer and soda caps with pinup girls and other kitschy images. I also loved to use old vintage gumball charms and barbie shoes to make necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Originally went under the name Pinup Soda Pop Jewelry by dani. Ive always had a love for repurposing old things to make new. Eventually I evolved to using more elements such as crystals, vintage brooches and clip on earrings and other found objects. Still incorporating found objects Danielle Christine Jewelry was born. I often go thrifting or to flea markets to find my materials and also am frequently gifted many pieces that would normally be tucked away in a drawer or attic and give new life to
I recently started cooking a lot and it is a new passion for me. I started really loving food once I turned vegetarian in 2017 because it forced me to try to use new ingredients to replace meat. Since then I have learned that it is more of an art form for me and am always striving to make the best looking and tasting food I can. In January 2021 I decided to try the vegan diet and even though I thought it would limit me in my cooking it opened up even more of the culinary world for me. In doing this I decided to share my favorite recipes here on my website!
